 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (in Russian: Сухой Суперджет 100) is a modern twin-engine regional jet airliner with a capacity from 87 to 108 passenger seats, depending on the configuration. This is the first Russian project to develop airliners for HA since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The development was started in 2000 by the Sukhoi Design Bureau, a division of the Russian Civil Aerospace Company (UAC), in cooperation with several foreign partners. |
