Ben Gurion International Airport (Hebrew: נמל התעופה הבינלאומי בן גוריון, Arabic: مطار بن غوريون الدولي) (IATA: TLV, ICAO:
LLBG), often referred to as Natbag, is the main international airport Israel and is the busiest airport in the country. Named after the first Prime Minister Israel David Ben-Gurion. The airport serves as a base for El Al, Israir Airlines, Arkia and Sun D'Or airlines. In 2015, 16.3 million passengers were transported. Located 19 km (12 miles) southeast of Tel Aviv. Ben Gurion Airport is operated by the Israel Airports Authority, a government agency that manages all state airports and border crossings in Israel.
Ben Gurion Airport is considered one of the top five airports in the Middle East due to its experience in providing the highest level of passenger safety. Security forces such as Israeli IDF police officers and Israeli Border Police officers are supplemented by airport security guards who work both in uniform and undercover. The airport has been the target of several terrorist attacks, but not a single attempt to hijack a plane departing from Ben Gurion Airport failed!
Ben
Gurion Version 2.0 for FSX has been completely redesigned and includes many new additions that simulate real events taking place at the airport!
This addon was developed with FSX compatible tools, tested for stable operation with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It also works with Lockheed-Martin's Prepar3D (P3D), although it was not specifically designed for this.
