In the middle of February, the fleet of the airline "International Airlines of Ukraine" replenished with a new type of aircraft for the carrier and Ukraine as a whole - a wide-body long-haul aircraft Boeing 777-200ER.     The aircraft is officially registered in Ukraine under the number UR-GOA. UIA will operate a new Boeing 777-200ER with a passenger capacity of 361 seats in a three-class cabin layout - business, premium economy and economy classes - on long-haul flights to New York, Beijing and Bangkok.
   The aircraft is from the world's largest leasing company, AerCap, and is equipped with a modern personalized entertainment system on board the Panasonic Corporation. In particular, in the back of each chair are mounted monitors with an extensive content menu: a wide selection of movies, music and computer games. To popularize Ukrainian cinema, Boeing 777 passengers will be presented with films of Ukrainian production. The content is available in four languages ​​- Ukrainian, English, Chinese and Russian.
   In addition, travelers will be able to track the route of the aircraft in real time - on an interactive 3D map with a touch control that includes a three-dimensional image of the globe, a guide to 100 cities, including 20 cities in Ukraine, a special application for children (Kids map - Animals) and other information.
   Boeing 777 seats are equipped with individual sockets and USB-modules for recharging electronic mobile devices, as well as Wi-Fi equipment.
   All three salons have a modern Sky Interior lighting system manufactured by Bruce Aerospace, which is set up in such a way that the interior lighting mode changes in the same way as in natural conditions, which creates a special atmosphere on board and, accordingly, the most comfortable conditions for passengers.
"The appearance of the Boeing 777 brings UIA service to a qualitatively new level," said Yevgenia Satskaya, UIA communications director, "The principally new aviation product will be of interest not only to travelers from Ukraine, but also to transfer passengers, which in turn will facilitate the further expansion of transit flows through the International Airport "Boryspil" and the development of the transit potential of our country. "
   This delivery is the first stage of the expansion program for the long-haul fleet of UIA. Another three Boeing 777s will arrive in the I - III quarters of 2018 after major maintenance, which provides testing and verification of all systems, assemblies and units. Air France-KLM Engineering & Maintenance, the leader in maintenance services for the Armed Forces, is the executor of the maintenance and final assembly of interiors.

Today, the UIA fleet includes 43 airliners of various modifications, including 27 medium-range Boeing-737 NG. The average age of the park is 11.9 years.
